Manchester United are set for a huge squad overhaul come June, with plenty of transfers expected in terms of ins and outs. One area which certainly needs work is the centre of defence, and we could have our first casualty in that area.
According to The Mirror, Jonny Evans is subject of a £10million bid from Everton, with the Irishman struggling to get into the first-team fold in the latter parts of this season.
Other reports have suggested that Manchester United have no plans to renew the 27-year old’s contract at the club, which runs out in a years time.
Getting £10million for Evans would be a great bit of business by Edward Woodward, and honestly if Everton are serious about offering this for him, although it’d be sad to see him go its an offer we simply have to take.
Unfortunately he hasn’t kicked on the way we’d have liked, and the time is right for him to move on.
