Manchester United have had an excellent transfer window to this point, with Louis van Gaal bringing no fewer than five faces so far and many more expected to come in. Alongside that though, the club have to keep going with their philosophy of bringing youth through the ranks.
One of the biggest prospects at the club at the moment is Callum Gribbin who is 16-years of age, and today he signed a four year contract extension at Old Trafford, that’ll keep him at the club until he is at least 20.
Gribbin is an central midfielder who has had the privilege of training with the first-team in recent weeks, he was even brought up when the pre-season tour of the USA was on the agenda. Sadly he didn’t get taken on tour due to an abundance of midfielders, but one day this boy could be something special.
Will Gribbin be a future first-teamer? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
