Manchester United could make the move for the extremely prolific Columbian, Jackson Martinez. According to the Daily Star, the 28-year old is set to be subject to a United move if the club decides not to sign Radamel Falcao permanently.
When quizzed about his future, Martinez said: “I have made it clear that my departure to a new club will surely happen next summer.”
Martinez’s intentions are certainly clear, and he’ll be looking for a new club in this coming transfer window after three hugely successful seasons with Porto – resulting in 86 goals in all competitions.
He’d be a fantastic signing for Manchester United, and he has all the attributes that are required to make it in the Premier League.
At 28, he is coming to the business end of his career and if a move to one of the bigger clubs in world football was ever going to happen, now is the time to do so and prove his worth at the pinnacle of the sport.
