Man Utd to swoop as Bayern want to offload star

Manchester United are plotting an audacious bid for Bayern Munich’s star striker, Robert Lewandowski, as the Bavarian club managed by Pep Guardiola are looking to offload the 26-year old, claim the Daily Star.

Louis van Gaal is a keen admirer of the Polish striker, with Atletico Madrid set to challenge United for his signature.

There aren’t many better goal scorers in the world than Lewandowski. If you give him the ball in space in the box, he’ll more likely than not stick it right in the back of the net.

Hes a player I’d welcome at Old Trafford. If you had Lewandowski and Wayne Rooney in some sort of rotation system then you’ll always be guaranteed goals.

It’d probably mean the end for both Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie however, who have both struggled this season.

Would Lewandowski be a good signing? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
