Man Utd transfer target meets Van Gaal ahead of proposed move

Manchester United’s move for Memphis Depay has been well publicised over recent weeks, with a move for the starlet looking inevitable as soon as the summer transfer window opens up in July.

According to VI, Manchester United officials held a meeting with Depay himself on Wednesday, a move that was allowed to happen by his current club PSV.

It is believed Louis van Gaal was present at the meeting, as the player would’ve discussed topics including playing time, position and probably personal terms too.

Depay is keen to keep his options open at this moment in time, and is thought to want time to think about what he wants to do, so no move looks likely for the next couple of months at least.

The winger is an extremely gifted player, and he has been lighting up the Eredivisie all season-long, and he could well end up winning the Player of the Year in that country, as he single-handedly guided PSV to their first title in five years.

Would Depay be a good signing? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
