Man Utd trio to return from injury in time for Chelsea clash

Manchester United have been in a rich vein of form recently, with Louis van Gaal seemingly stumbling upon the right team and formation. The side are currently on a six game winning streak, including beating Spurs, Liverpool and City.

It doesn’t get any easier for United though, with their next game away at Chelsea.

Ahead of that huge clash, three players could return to the match day squad,a after suffering injuries.

According to PhysioRoom, Luke Shaw, Robin van Persie and Michael Carrick could all be fit to play at Stamford Bridge, but you struggle to find places in the side, particularly for our flying Dutchman.

The biggest boost is that of Michael Carrick. Thankfully the injury he sustained in the Manchester derby doesn’t look too serious and he should be available to start against Mourinho’s men on Saturday evening.
