Man Utd want to sell winger but wages put off potential buyers

Louis van Gaal will be looking to continue his huge overhaul of the Manchester United squad this summer, and on top of his exit list is Portugal international Nani. The 28-year old had some excellent seasons at Old Trafford, but a series of injuries have halted his form and progress with the club.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Nani’s wages could put off many potential suitors as his £100,000-a-week demands will be too much of a gamble for most sides. The winger is currently playing his football at Sporting Lisbson, and his form at the moment has been pretty good.

With three-and-a-half years left on his current deal, United will be keen to get a decent fee for the trickster, and if nobody is willing to take a gamble on him another loan move could be likely.
