Man Utd’s on loan winger claims club wants him to stay

Luis Nani is somewhat regarded as the forgotten man at Manchester United of late, despite the Portuguese winger lighting up his hometown country’s domestic league whilst on loan at his former side Sporting Lisbon. Today the 28-year old has claimed that Manchester United have told him he has a future at the club.

“The club know my value and I know they want me to stay.” Nani said.

“It was me who made the choice to leave the club and it was a good decision by me because I knew if I stayed one more season at Old Trafford, it would be very hard for me.”

“I just need someone to believe in me, trust me and my qualities, and give me an opportunity to show them on the pitch.” The winger added.

Its great to see that he is optimistic about returning to the club and fighting for his place in the side. On his day Nani is up there with the best wingers in world football, and maybe this loan move could kickstart his career.

He certainly has the potential, so if he can stay injury-free and get a good run in the side there is no reason as to why he cannot come back and be a regular in the first-team once again.
