Manchester United have been the frontrunners for Paul Pogba’s signature for quite a while now, with Jose Mourinho clearly trying his utmost to get a deal done soon. Now, Real Madrid have reared their ugly head once again…
According to ESPN, Zidane’s men have re-entered the race to land the 23-year-old Pogba, and the Spanish club have made initial contact with Juventus about the possibility of signing the Frenchman.
This is only bad news for United. Paul Pogba’s agents have made it clear that Madrid would be the number one choice if they came in with a solid offer, and if that happens, there is only one outcome.
However, if Manchester United can outbid Madrid and flex their financial muscles, Juventus will only accept an offer from United, which could well happen.
There is plenty of time left in the transfer window yet, and with five weeks to go, we’ll have to sit tight for a little while longer before we’re going to get an outcome on this one.
