Manchester United Football Club sadly won’t be on our TV screens for the next fortnight, due to the pain that is the international break. These breaks seem to be coming thick and fast already which is a real shame, but there are a few positives to take out of it.
One of them is a first England call-up for Michael Keane, a man who came through the ranks at Manchester United before being sold on by Louis van Gaal.
The young Englishman is making a real name for himself with Burnley at the moment and it is brilliant to see. He is a real commander at the back, and has a massive future ahead of him if he continues to grow and develop.
As a man who has graduated from the academy here at Old Trafford it’s lovely to see him succeed elsewhere, and he really deserves his international call-up.
Who knows, one day we may well see him back at the Theatre of Dreams as he’s obviously good enough to mix it at elite level.
