Manchester United boost as key Liverpool man ruled out of second leg

Manchester United need all the help they can get to overcome the 2-0 deficit in the Europa League against Liverpool, with Louis van Gaal’s side looking a real mess for the majority of that game. Ahead of the game the Iron Tulip has been handed a major boost in terms of Liverpool’s team.

Their first-choice left-back Alberto Moreno has been ruled out of the game due to a hamstring injury he picked up in training, and with Jon Flanagan also out of the squad, Klopp has real problems in that area of the field.

Louis van Gaal must now surely target this area as a potential weak spot during the game, and it could well be the best way for us to penetrate their defence. With pace and trickery on the wings like Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial, this could be the key to victory in a tough game.
