Manchester United Football Club have been outrageously busy over the last few summer transfer windows, as Louis van Gaal tries to rebuild a side that certainly needs plenty of work doing to it. That overhaul is set to continue this summer.
According to Tuttosport in Italy, Manchester United and Inter Milan are looking at the possibility of a potential swap deal, involving Juan Mata and Joao Miranda.
Juan Mata’s time at Old Trafford has certainly been mixed. He has scored some stunning goals like the scissor kick away at Anfield, but also had some moments where he has been largely ineffective. Although he’s a fan favourite, I cannot imagine many will be too disappointed if he is sold.
Joao Miranda is an experienced centre-back, who was at the heart of Atletico Madrid’s success under Diego Simeone 18 months ago. He’d certainly bring some much-needed knowledge and knowhow to our young back line, and it could be a decent bit of business for United.
