Manchester United have sent out plenty of their starlets on loan this January, with Louis van Gaal clearly keen on getting some of the club’s best academy products regular first-team football. James Wilson, Dean Henderson, Sam Johnstone and others have left the club, with one more on his way.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are considering loaning Andreas Pereira out this January window, so he can get some competitive minutes under his belt.
No club is named in the article, but you’d imagine a top level Championship side would be the best bet for the 20-year old Brazilian.
Personally I feel it’ll be a good move for him, because I don’t see him getting minutes week-in week-out here for the rest of the season if he decides to stay here.
He’s at that stage in his career where nothing will progress him more as a player than playing, so I’m all for a move away.
