Manchester United made it a perfect three out of three in the Premier League last night, with Jose Mourinho’s men scoring a late goal to take all of the points back to Old Trafford. The team as a whole are performing brilliantly, and one man who has been pleasantly surprising is Marouane Fellaini.
The big Belgian has often come in for heavy criticism from large portions of the fanbase is Marouane Fellaini, but he has been playing excellently under the watchful eye of our new boss.
He has won his fair share of tackles, as you’d expect, beat his man in the air more often than not, and on the whole has been a real threat.
However, the usually reliable Mark Ogden spoke to Jose Mourinho after the game, and the gaffer has revealed that the 28-year-old has a ‘bad’ back injury which is obviously a huge concern.
We now have the international break, and in exactly fourteen days the first Manchester derby of the season will be contested. Hopefully, Fellaini can get himself fighting fit before then, but it doesn’t look good.
