Manchester United Football Club could have just been dealt a cruel blow in their pursuit of Paul Pogba, and it could be a telling factor that could scupper any potential move for the talented Frenchman. That’s according to the latest reports coming out of France.
El Confidencial say that Paul Pogba met his agent Mino Raiola to discuss the prospect of a move to Old Trafford, with a reported €300k-a-week on the table for the 23-year-old.
However, the French media outlet go on to say that although Raiola is keen on pushing a deal to Manchester United through, the player himself isn’t all that convinced.
Pogba himself is thinking about rejecting an Old Trafford return, in order of holding out for a move to Spain and Real Madrid in the near future – and you couldn’t really blame him.
United treated him horrendously back in 2012, and under current circumstances, Madrid is clearly a much more attractive proposition at this point in time.
