Manchester United Football Club are set to be without Marcos Rojo for the majority of the hectic winter schedule, if reports are to be believed. The Mirror say that the Argentinian suffered a severe shoulder injury in training, and is set to be out for several weeks.
Whats worse is that the 25-year old may require surgery to fix the issue, meaning the period on the sidelines could be extended if that is the case.
Losing Rojo couldn’t have come at a worse time. Luke Shaw is done for the season, and Rojo is the only other real option we have at left-back. Yes, both Ashley Young and Daley Blind can play their, but they both look so unnatural when deployed in the full-back slot.
Hopefully this is just gossip and paper talk, but we should know more tomorrow as Louis van Gaal will meet the media ahead of the West ham game this Saturday.
