Manchester United Football Club signed Eric Bailly this summer, with the new manager clearly trying to bolster his defensive options before the new season. Alongside bringing new faces in, though, there will be some casualties along the way.
According to Duncan Castles of One World Sports, Manchester United have told Marcos Rojo that he is no longer needed at Old Trafford – and urged him to find another side during this transfer window.
Castles goes on to say that clubs in both Italy and Spain are looking at signing the Argentinian defender, and Manchester United would be willing to take a hit by selling him at around the £12million mark if an offer comes in.
Rojo could certainly consider himself unlucky if he is sold, as there are several other defenders who haven’t performed anywhere near their capabilities this season – including Phil Jones.
However, you’d understand Mourinho’s decision as the 26-year-old Rojo doesn’t really fit his style of play.
