Manchester United and David de Gea have been embroiled in one of the transfer sagas of the summer, and as we’re nearing the end of the window it looks as though the club have won and managed to keep hold of the shot-stopper for one final season.
However according to Marca, Manchester United aren’t totally against the idea of selling De Gea this window – but it’d come at a huge cost for Real Madrid.
The Spanish paper claim that United are after £29million cash for De Gea, or £22million plus Keylor Navas to get the deal done this summer.
I love how Louis van Gaal and Edward Woodward aren’t letting De Gea go easily and its great to see the club playing hardball with financial powerhouses like Real Madrid.
Whilst it looks likely that De Gea will leave United at some point within the next twelve months, if we can keep him for one more year he’ll win us numerous amounts of points throughout the duration of the season and at the end of the day you cannot put a price on that.
