Manchester United drawn at home in Capital One Cup fourth round

Just minutes after beating Ipswich Town 3-0 at Old Trafford, the draw for the Capital One Cup fourth round was made. Another home tie is coming for Manchester United, as Louis van Gaal’s side will play host to Middlesbrough towards the end of October.

You get the feeling that Louis van Gaal is keen to make amends for United’s horrific performance in the cup competitions last year, hence the strong line-up he opted for today.

I’d love to see a good cup run, and a fourth round tie at home to Middlesbrough certainly presents a good opportunity for the younger lads in the squad once again.

Hopefully we can keep progressing as a team, and who knows, we could have a Wembley trip in the offing come March next year.
