Manchester United Football Club are obviously planning for a huge summer transfer window, particularly after not investing whatsoever in January. That could be largely down to whether Louis van Gaal will still be in charge or not, but whoever the gaffer is they’ll certainly have money to spend.
According to the German media outlet Bild, Manchester United are embroiled in a three way battle to win the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach star, Mahmoud Dahoud.
Manchester City, Juventus and Manchester United are the three clubs reportedly keen on landing the 20-year old midfielder of Syrian descent, who is putting in some mightily impressive performances for his current side at the moment.
Dahoud is currently under contract until 2018 in Germany, but could well be on the move during the summer months if the right offer comes in for him. At the end of the day, the eventual buyer of Dahoud is investing purely in talent rather than proven quality, so it could be a huge gamble.
