Manchester United extremely serious about meeting €45million release clause of midfielder

Manchester United are a club who have never been scared to take a risk or two when it comes to transfers, and I suppose it helps when you have a big bank account allowing that to happen. It looks as though the board are ready to take another chance this summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo in Spain, Manchester United are serious about meeting Saul Niguez’s €45million buyout clause in his current contract.

The 21-year old is having a tough time out in the Spanish capital at the moment, and could well move on in the hunt for regular starts rather than bench appearances.

At the end of the day, when you buy a player like Saul Niguez you’re investing in talent and potential, and it tends to be much more of a gamble rather than buying proven quality. Sometimes it can work a treat like Anthony Martial, and others it may take a bit longer for them to flourish, similarly to Memphis Depay.
