Manchester United got back to winning ways in simply stunning style over the weekend, thanks to a superb team performance as the lads beat Leicester 4-1.  One man at the heart of everything good on the day was Juan Mata, and his overall performances look set to be rewarded.

The Spaniard has two years left on his current contract at the Theatre of Dreams, but the IB Times reckon the Spaniard has already held talks with Jose Mourinho about extending his stay in Manchester.

It is thought that the attacking midfielder is ‘desperate’ to continue life at the Red Devils, and he’s really flourishing in Jose’s new-look Manchester United side.

I’d probably go as far as saying that Juan Mata is vastly underappreciated by a large portion of the Old Trafford faithful, and this weekend was just another display that proves how good he is. He orchestrated the game for United, and as well as getting himself a goal, he also bagged an assist.
