Manchester United really aren’t having a good time of things on the field at the moment. Jose Mourinho’s side were once again nothing short of atrocious against Fenerbahce, as the lads slumped to a 2-1 defeat – their fifth away loss in a row in continental competition.

From minute one the players just didn’t look up for a match in a hostile atmosphere. Fenerbahce bullied us in the midfield, won every 50/50 and outfought us for the duration of the match and more than deserved their win.

One man in particular who put in a shocking display on the night was Luke Shaw, as the young left-back struggled to even pick out a teammate. He looked lacking in pace, any real ability and confidence.

He has been a fan favourite since his move to the Theatre of Dreams, but the reds all over social media were less than pleased with an abysmal display tonight – and rightly so.
