Manchester United fans planning to fly anti-Glazer banner over Old Trafford for Spurs game

Manchester United fans have often been content with the situation that unfolds at Old Trafford; largely due to the fact that we’ve been mightily successful.

However, an anti-David Moyes banner was flown over the stadium less than a year into his tenure. Now, we could see something similar happen again.

That’s according to The Sun, per Balls.ie… They say that an ‘Ed out’ plus ‘LUHG’ plane banner will be revealed during United’s game against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

Honestly, I’m all for getting your point across, but plane banners? No thanks. I find them embarrassing, cringeworthy and extremely reactionary. Look, United have lost one game. That’s it.

These same fans weren’t moaning twelve months ago when we had the same owners guiding us to a second-place finish in the table, were they? They’ve backed Jose Mourinho pretty heavily during his stay at the club. One summer off due to the right players not being available isn’t a travesty. Why should they overpay if Mourinho isn’t wholly convinced by the signings on the table?

Just let the players get on with their football. The results will come. Mourinho’s a fantastic manager. He hasn’t just lost his touch overnight…
