Manchester United fans react to woeful Marcos Rojo performance vs Everton

Manchester United fans walked out of Old Trafford delighted yesterday, thanks to a goal from Anthony Martial, set up by Timothy Fosu-Mensah. However the Dutchman who grabbed the assist didn’t start the game, but came on as half-time substitute for Marcos Rojo.

The Argentinian struggled for 45 minutes, particularly with the pace of Gerard Deulofeu running at him down his flank.

This poor performance comes just a day after FC Barcelona were linked with a €12million move to bring in the 26-year old, and perhaps it was just coincidental, but maybe that could have been on his mind.

I’ve always thought of Rojo as just a squad player who can fill in, in plenty of different areas of the field when needed as opposed to an actual starter.

As you’d imagine the United fans weren’t all that pleased with him after the game, and vented their frustrations on Twitter.
