Manchester United certainly looked better going forward in their 3-3 draw away at Newcastle, with goals galore being on display for the first time in a while whilst watching a Louis van Gaal side. However with that came awful defending, and now we know why the Iron Tulip likes to play defensively.
One man in particular was singled out for individual criticism, as Marouane Fellaini put in an awful performance from minute one. Before twenty minutes were on the clock he had committed four fouls, and found himself in the referees book shortly after.
Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the fact that he had the chance to seal the victory with a header late on after some fantastic play from Memphis Depay. Unfortunately the header went straight at the Newcastle goalkeeper, and shortly after, The Toon equalised and sent St James’ Park into pandemonium.
As you’d expect, the fans were less than complimentary towards Fellaini on Twitter.

Any manager taking Herrera off there instead of Fellaini deserves no benefit of the doubt anyway. Or the United job, but we knew that

All because Fellaini the bean pole can't finish with a free header! Ugh!

Get rid of Fellaini, becoming a liability

Fellaini's only attribute was heading. Now he can't even do that.

Fellaini's special power is missing absolute sitters. He's done it consistently all season from 7 yards.
