Manchester United will be coming away from Anfield with mixed feelings. Jose Mourinho’s men secured a point, but didn’t really play well in the process.
Personally, I expected a more attacking approach from Jose Mourinho. In the end, though, it was the usual, tactical style from the self-proclaimed Special One.
I get it. Going away to Liverpool is never easy. I just cannot help feeling that they are vulnerable at the back and we should have gone to try and get all three points.
One player completely isolated on the day was Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The clever Armenian just couldn’t get into the game at all, and when he did have the ball at his feet, the former Borussia Dortmund man was careless.
After starting the season brilliantly, Mourinho must be worried about the attacking midfielder. We’ve come to expect so much more from him, but as of late, he just hasn’t been delivering the goods.
Perhaps this is just a blip, but I, like many other Manchester United fans, wasn’t best pleased with Mkhitaryan at full-time. We’ve compiled some of the best tweets below.
Check out the tweets aimed at Henrikh Mkhitaryan here:
Worried about Mkhitaryan. Struggled again today. Shame, he started the season brilliantly.

Mkhitaryan was nonexistent for me in that game, missed the likes of Pogba and Fellaini..
Hats off to the defence though, solid!

Time for Mkhitaryan to be benched after a series of poor performances. Maybe try Mata as no 10 or unleash both Rashford and Martial

Mkhitaryan could be a game changer coming off the bench later

Fashionable to criticise Lukaku but Mkhitaryan has to do better imo.

Lingard set to come on for Mkhitaryan, who's had one of his more anonymous games..

Herrera, Mkhitaryan and Darmian need to be binned AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
