Manchester United fans could have received the best transfer news all summer, and the window hasn’t officially opened yet. It comes out of Spain from Cadena Ser, who say that Real Madrid have told Keylor Navas that they will not be signing a goalkeeper before the new campaign.
It could have been completely different for all involved if David de Gea’s proposed swap deal with Keylor Navas went through. However, thanks to a dodgy fax machine, Manchester United managed to keep hold of their man.
Once again, the Spaniard has had another outstanding season at Old Trafford, and that culminated with his third Player of the Year trophy in a row.
What a blessing it would be to keep hold of arguably our sole world class player for another season, and the prospect of him working in a side under the guidance of Jose Mourinho is an extremely exciting one.
