Manchester United’s incoming transfer business is seemingly all done and dusted, with Jose Mourinho sealing four signings who’ll drastically improve the overall look of the squad as a whole. Now, it’s time to work on shipping out those players who don’t fit his system and plans.
One man who has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford is Daley Blind, and now, according to reports in Italy, the versatile Dutchman is being targeted as Frank de Boer’s first signing as Inter Milan boss.
Blind has been a first-team regular for United since his arrival at the club two years ago, and his ability to offer himself as an outlet in multiple positions has been a real revelation.
It would be sad to see him go, but if Jose sees it fit, then you’d have to accept that decision. United would certainly be looking to profit on the £14million they paid for him if that’s the case, and you’d imagine his form over the last two years would definitely justify that.
