Manchester United former striker only given one percent chance of playing under van Gaal

Manchester United’s Louis van Gaal has been heavily criticised over the last few weeks due to the clubs awful style of play, and to stick the knife in, one former hero at Old Trafford has been banging in the goals – as Chicharito has scored 17 goals in 20 games at his new club.

The Mexican has been speaking about his time at Manchester United, and although he was full of praise for Sir Alex Ferguson, he didn’t seem all that convinced by Louis van Gaal as boss.

“I spoke with Van Gaal and he said that I only had a one percent chance of playing in my position, so I headed to Bayer.”

It seems as though he never got a fair crack at the whip under Louis van Gaal, as he was shipped out on loan almost immediately, and then this summer the club were quite open in the fact that they were willing to let Javier Hernandez leave the club.
