Manchester United host CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford tomorrow, in a game which promises to be the first of many chilly midweek games at The Theatre of Dreams throughout the hectic winger months.
Louis van Gaal’s tasks ahead of the game certainly haven’t been made any easier, as today reports have claimed that four members of the first-team squad were absent from training today.
Morgan Schneiderlin, Antonio Valencia, Paddy McNair and James Wilson were all missing at Carrington – and the foursome are now all unlikely to feature in the game whatsoever tomorrow.
The biggest concern here is the fact that Morgan Schneiderlin missed training. He has been a key man for the club since coming in from Southampton. He provides that mobility that our midfield has often been lacking and his defensive duties certainly have played an impact on why United have such a good record at the back this season.
