Manchester United handed favourable away tie in FA Cup fourth round

Manchester United have been handed a perfectly winnable tie in the fourth round of the FA Cup, with a trip to Yeovil Town in the offing, per the BBC.

The Red Devils’ name in the hat was secured thanks to a 2-0 victory over Derby County on Friday night.

Twelve-time winners were handed the best possible draw on paper at least, with Yeovil the lowest-placed side left in this year’s competition.

It presents United with an excellent opportunity to progress into the fifth round of the tournament, and, in all honesty, the FA Cup is probably our best chance at winning silverware at this point.

Manchester City are running away with the league, and it’d take a miracle for us to go all the way in the Champions League. However, I don’t expect Jose Mourinho to give up just yet, because he’s a born winner.

Hopefully, we’ll see some young talents given an opportunity to prove their worth. I’m looking at Axel Tuanzebe and Scott McTominay – both of whom are immensely talented.

The tie will take place during the weekend of 26th January.
