Manchester United handed mixed Champions League group, including two stunning returns

Manchester United’s Champions League fate has been revealed. Jose Mourinho’s men have been handed a real mixed bag in terms of their group… It certainly won’t be easy to progress into the knockout stages this time around…

Being second in the league meant we were drawn in pot two. The ‘easiest’ tie from the pot one candidates was definitely Lokomotiv Moscow. Spoiler: we didn’t draw the Russians, instead, we’ll be heading to Turin…

Anyway, the club confirmed their group just an hour or so ago… United will play Juventus, Valencia CF and Young Boys…

For the match-going fan, there is plenty to foam at the mouth over. Cristiano Ronaldo returning back to Old Trafford leading his new Juve side here? What a tie that is.The same can be said for Paul Pogba heading ‘home’ in the return leg… It’s going to be an excellent doubleheader.

Valencia always present a tough test in European competition. That tie will certainly be close; both home and away.

You’d definitely fancy our chances against Young Boys. Although visiting the Wankdorf Stadium could be an excellent away trip for the travelling reds amongst us…

What do you reckon? I fancy us to qualify, but perhaps in second place… It’s definitely going to be fun. That’s for sure…
