Manchester United hit with an injury ahead of Tottenham game

Manchester United’s U21s took on Chelsea’s youth side yesterday, and there were questions regarding the absence of Adnan Januzaj, who missed the game. Rumours were flying around suggesting that Van Gaal had decided to drop him due to too much showboating, but that isn’t the case.

According to the Daily Mail, Adnan Januzaj missed the U21 game due to picking up an injury in training during the week.

The length of the problem isn’t public knowledge at this point in time, but it would just sum up his season if he cannot play again this term. He has barely featured for United, had a poor loan spell out in Germany with Borussia Dortmund and has struggled to impress the manager for the most part.

Hopefully it isn’t anything serious and he can keep his head up, and prove to Louis van Gaal that he does have something to offer this club over the next decade or so.
