Manchester United hit with four injury concerns ahead of Palace game

Manchester United take part in one of their trickier away games of the Premier League season today, as a trip to Alan Pardew’s revitalised Crystal Palace side is on the cards. Louis van Gaal will be hoping to makes amends for the woeful performance last time around.

His task hasn’t been made any easier however, with the Dutchman revealing that he’ll be without four players for the clash. Memphis Depay and James Wilson both picked up injuries against Middlesbrough in the midweek game, whereas Antonio Valencia and Paddy McNair both haven’t recovered in time. Obviously Luke Shaw is a long-term casualty.

Things really aren’t going right for Memphis at the moment. His off-field attitude has come into question, his performances on the pitch have been below-par and now this latest injury blow will only lower his confidence even more. Hopefully he can remain calm and focused, and come back better.
