Manchester United hit with UEFA charge for second time this season

Manchester United have been hit with their second UEFA charge of the Champions League campaign. The first was due to a delayed kick-off and late arrival during the Valencia CF home game last month.

This time around, the Red Devils have been hit with a charge after multiple fans invaded the pitch during the 1-0 loss to Juventus. That’s according to the BBC.

Honestly, the whole club is in a mess at the moment. You look at the fact that United arrived late to the stadium again last night, despite the fact that their hotel is less than a mile away from Old Trafford. What’s even more embarrassing, Juventus had no trouble, and they came all the way from Turin!

The fine itself doesn’t hurt the club, whatever money is involved, it’ll be pittance when you’re as cash-rich as United, but it just perfectly sums up what’s going on around the place at this point in time.

As for pitch invaders, I just don’t get it from a fans’ standpoint. Those lads paid hard-earned cash to watch their heroes play, yet someone jumped onto the pitch with less than five minutes on the clock… Heck, at least wait until the end of the game!
