Manchester United is hopeful that Marcus Rashford will be able to return to action this weekend against Huddersfield, according to ESPN.
The young Mancunian missed the Red Devils’ game against Newcastle United on Sunday as he’s currently nursing a thigh issue, but Jose Mourinho will be delighted to have him back; although the manager is yet to decide whether to risk Rashford, particularly with games against Sevilla and Chelsea on the horizon.
Rashford is probably enduring his worst spell as a professional footballer at the moment, following a poor run of form leading to him being dropped to the substitutes bench.
However, perhaps him picking up this niggling injury would have reignited the fire in his belly, making him even more desperate to do all he can in order to win his place back.
Mourinho loves Rashford and I’m positive that this dip in form won’t hamper his overall development. Every footballer, particularly attacking players, struggle at some point during their careers, it’s just the nature of their position. Hopefully, the Old Trafford hero will rediscover his shooting boots in the not too distant future and be back to his brilliant best.
