Manchester United Football Club have named yet another fresh face in their squad to face West Ham, as Ro-Shaun Williams has been included for the first time. The 17-year old from Whalley Range played against Liverpool’s U21s this week, and arrived with the first-team squad at the Lowry Hotel this evening.
Ro-Shaun Williams’ emergence is another example of Louis van Gaal’s willingness to experiment and give talents their debuts, and its great to see him putting trust in players of such a tender age.
Its especially nice to see Manchester lads included. Cameron Borthwick-Jackson led the way, Joe Rothwell was in the match day squad against Watford and now its Williams’ turn to get his chance.
Hopefully he can now take his opportunity and get himself on the pitch and follow in the footsteps of the likes of Guillermo Varela and Jesse Lingard who have become first-team regulars.
