Manchester United Football Club have already made three additions to the squad under Jose Mourinho, with the new manager clearly identifying targets and getting them integrated into the side as quickly as possible. Now, another shock player has emerged on the transfer list.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are exploring the possibility of bringing in Juventus defender, Leonardo Bonucci.
The 29-year-old has recently been targeted by City, but they have seemingly been put off of any potential move for one of the standout centre-backs at the European Championships.
This would be arguably the most important piece of business United would make if the deal goes through. Chris Smalling has been calling out for a world class defensive partner over the last couple of seasons, and Bonucci would certainly fit that mould.
However, you feel that Juventus wouldn’t sell both Pogba and Bonucci to the club in the same transfer window, so it’d probably be one or the other as opposed to both.
