Manchester United are ready to hijack Arsenal’s move for Real Madrid midfielder Isco this summer, according to the Daily Express. They say that Jose Mourinho will take charge at Old Trafford, and he wants to make Isco one of his first signings.
However that may prove more difficult than expected, as Arsenal already have an agreement in place with the world class Spaniard. Mourinho and Isco have already worked together in the past, but the 24-year old isn’t happy with the amount of playing time he is getting at the Santiago Bernabeu and could look to move on.
There is no doubting that he’d be a world class signing for Manchester United, in an area in which the Red Devils definitely need some reinforcement.
Imagine a front four of Isco, Anthony Martial, Antoine Griezmann (who has been linked with United today), and Marcus Rashford. Pace, precision and skill galore.
it won’t be easy to lure him to Old Trafford without Champions League football, but the offer of regular playing time is something that he may have to overlook, as well as the chance to be reunited with Jose Mourinho.
