Well, this rumour was always going to crop up at some stage. Manchester United have been linked with a former face once again – David Moyes. Reports suggest that Moyes, who recently became Sunderland boss, wants to bring Adnan Januzaj to the Stadium of Light.
The news comes from the Daily Mail, who say that Moyes wants to add more flair to his line-up with the addition of Adnan Januzaj on a season-long loan deal,
Moyes was the man who gave the Belgian his big chance at the highest stage, and what a debut it was to remember as Januzaj scored two stunning goals in a come-from-behind victory.
It would make complete sense if the 21-year-old did decide to go out on loan, and he’d surely get the game-time he needs to develop and grow as a player.
United and Sunderland have a history of successful loans and transfers. Danny Welbeck flourished there, and both John O’Shea and Wes Brown made the move North in recent years.
