Manchester United legend reveals biggest fear at Old Trafford

Manchester United fans are starting to doubt Louis van Gaal at this point in time, with some fans even booing during the half-time break at the match last night. With that in mind, Peter Schmeichel has had his say on the current situation at the club, and revealed he wouldn’t like this man as the next manager.

Peter Schmeichel said: “This is my biggest fear that someone like Pep Guardiola will become the next Manchester United manager.”

“Pep has changed from what I thought was a fantastic team under Heynckes. I don’t think Bayern are as exciting as they were.” He added.

I kind of see where Schmeichel is coming from here, but can he honestly say he’s enjoying what is currently on display at Manchester United? It cannot be anywhere near as bad as the brand of football we’re playing at the moment.

The ideal scenario for everyone is that United do start to play more attractively under Louis van Gaal, because I firmly believe in his managerial abilities – as do most reds.
