Today, we learned that the young football team who were stuck in a cave over in Thailand had miraculously been rescued.
The eleven footballers and their coach, from the Wild Boars Football Club, have all been declared safe and on the mend. This is absolutely fantastic work from all involved, and although the lads who were stuck will be in a real state of shock right now; their day could have just gotten a whole lot better.
Manchester United have made an incredible gesture, inviting the football team to Old Trafford for a game next season.
#MUFC is relieved to learn that the 12 footballers and their coach trapped in a cave in Thailand are now safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected.

This really is mission impossible, and credit to the special forces who put their own lives at risk to save others. It really was a team effort and to get these lads out, safely, from such a dangerous situation, is such a monumental success story.
It reminds me of the Chilean miners from a few years ago. Their lives were in danger, and somehow they got themselves out of harms way. Come to think of it, United also made a similar gesture to those guys, and it’s wonderful to see our club doing what they can to help out.
Great work, United!
