Manchester United man named in PFA Team of the Year

Manchester United’s season has been extremely hit and miss for the most part, with Louis van Gaal struggling to get a decent tune out of his players on a consistent basis. However one man who has been ever-present is David de Gea, and his form has been rewarded.

The Spaniard has been named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year once again, and you have to say he thoroughly deserves the nod, ahead of the likes of Petr Cech, Thibaut Courtois, Hugo Lloris and Joe Hart.

His achievement is put into even greater perspective when you factor in that De Gea missed the first month of the season as his future at the club was up in the air. Credit to him though, he never let his head turn away from Old Trafford, and he has been brilliant all year.
