Manchester United manager gives injury update on Luke Shaw

Manchester United were dealt a cruel blow when Luke Shaw was struck down with a broken leg in two places back in September. Now, fourth months down the line, Louis van Gaal has given us another update regarding his injury, and thankfully its good news.

“All three are going very well.” Louis van Gaal replied when asked about the situation of Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia Marcos Rojo.

“Shaw and Valencia also had a holiday and have come back very brightly and have the spirit to continue so that’s very good.” He added.

Its good to know that Shaw in particular is progressing. His injury was an absolute freak situation that you don’t often see, but it came at such a bad time. The young left-back was in the form of his life, but thankfully he seems upbeat about the situation and is remaining positive.

The £30million man could well be in our starting line-up for the next ten years, so hopefully he can get a good pre-season under his belt and get back to work as soon as possible.
