Manchester United Football Club seem to be on the verge of completing one of their highest ever transfers for an outgoing player. Morgan Schneiderlin is having his medical at Everton today, according to the usually reliable Sky Sources who announced the news earlier today.
The 27-year-old has featured just eight times for Manchester United this campaign under Jose Mourinho, and it seems as though he is supremely out-of-favour at Old Trafford. That has meant that a move away has always seemed inevitable.
Yesterday, the BBC announced that the two sides had agreed a fee of £22million for Morgan Schneiderlin, which isn’t bad at all, for a man who has struggled to implement his game completely.
It’ll also mean the Frenchman will be reunited with his former manager Ronald Koeman, with the pair previously working together at Southampton before he made the move to the Theatre of Dreams.
Hopefully, he’ll pass his medical with flying colours and this deal can be officially confirmed soon. On top of that, it’d be great if Jose Mourinho does get given that money to invest back into the playing squad. That said, I don’t think he’ll spend it in January.
