Manchester United midfielder hits out at Louis van Gaal following unfair treatment

Manchester United Football Club have given plenty of chances to youngsters this season, largely due to a whole host of injuries decimating the first-team squad. One man who hasn’t really been given a fair shot is Andreas Pereira, and he is not happy with Louis van Gaal.

The Brazilian starlet claimed that he asked to be loaned out back in January, but Louis van Gaal rejected the move, and told him he would get his chance at Manchester United.

“I wanted to be loaned out in January in order to play more and to keep developing myself, but Van Gaal told me that he did not want me to be loaned out,”  Pereira told Goal UK.

“He told me to stay in Manchester because he would use me and that I would play.”

“I told him that was fine, and that if I could stay and play then I would. He did not let me leave.”

“I took the decision and now I’m training, doing my job and waiting for him to fulfil his word.”

The season is over now, and Pereira certainly has every right to be frustrated, particularly if he was told that he would get an opportunity. At least he’s continuing to work hard in training, but coming to the media and talking about it probably isn’t the best way of trying to resolve that issue – particularly with an FA Cup final to play for in just a matter of hours.
