Manchester United monitoring Chelsea starlet’s situation ahead of move – report

Manchester United have been much-improved in terms of results this season, with Louis van Gaal giving plenty of youngsters a chance. We’ve seen the likes of Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Memphis Depay and Luke Shaw (before his injury) all given regular starts in the first-team.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Manchester United are closely monitoring the situation of the Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda. The 19-year old has been a key figure for their youth sides over the last couple of seasons, but has become disillusioned with life at the Bridge.

The Belgian is disappointed with the lack of first-team opportunities given to him by Jose Mourinho, and he is rapidly approaching that stage in his career where he needs to be playing competitive football regularly.

He himself will know that players of his age are given a chance at Old Trafford, and if the interest is genuine, he could well be tempted by a move to Manchester.
