Manchester United Football Club have been playing some brilliant stuff recently, with Jose Mourinho’s men going on a decent winning run. That hasn’t seen them move up the table in terms of position, but the Red Devils have definitely closed the gap on the teams above them.
Perhaps the key contributing factor to our good form is that Jose has kept an unchanged team, and that has led to some players missing out on football. Inevitably, they’ll have to move on, and one of those guys who hasn’t been playing an awful lot recently is Morgan Schneiderlin.
Now it looks as though Manchester United have named their price if they are to part with the 27-year-old Frenchman. The Daily Mail say that it’ll cost any buying club £20million to land Schneiderlin, with Everton the current front runners.
It would be a real shame to see the back of Morgan, but at the end of the day, he has not been anywhere near good enough so far. Whether that’s down to the fact he has barely played, or he just hasn’t been showing the manager enough in training remains to be seen. However, it looks as though his exit from the Theatre of Dreams is inevitable, but only if the right offer comes in.
The report says that Everton are keen to land Schneiderlin, and Koeman obviously wants a reunion with a player that he managed at Southampton. Hopefully, this deal goes through for the sake of all involved.
