Manchester United could be on the verge of sealing one of the biggest transfers in the history of football – but he won’t come cheap. The man in question is FC Barcelona’s Neymar, who could well be about to leave the Camp Nou this summer.
The news comes from ABC in Spain, translated via The Metro. They say that Manchester United have offered him a monumental £13.3million a year to make the switch to Old Trafford this summer – but that isn’t the only offer on the table.
As you’d imagine a whole host of clubs will be chasing the forward, with Paris Saint-Germain also interested, and they’ve offered him a ridiculous £22million yearly salary if he chooses Paris.
At the end of the day, to land the best you have to pay monumental fees. Neymar is up there with the best on the planet and he is still only young at 24.
You do worry about his stature, though. He isn’t really the most built of players, and the physicality of the English game could cause him a real issue.
